I replied me saying Spain, won all their games from the group stages through knock outs without needing penalties.

But yea the NL would have gotten to through the knock outs without Pks of they pull that off today.

England have created a bad name for themselves as losers. But does anybody understand why that is. Premier league is considered the best league in the world. Their players are plenty good, or at least equally good with most other contenders. What is missing? Or is it bad luck?

They have plenty of talented players. But PL hype leads to them thinking their players are superstars and other teams have inferior footballers ie hype and complacency.

That and they've always been poor tactically and rely on moments in games rather than dominating with intelligent passing and positioning and movement.
