England have created a bad name for themselves as losers. But does anybody understand why that is. Premier league is considered the best league in the world. Their players are plenty good, or at least equally good with most other contenders. What is missing? Or is it bad luck?

They never had the best team, niether in individuals or in a collective way.
People hate Southgate, but before him England was out of Euro 2016 against freakin Iceland and in 2014 in group stage with Costa rica coming over them iirc.
