Europa League

Of course it did, and still does. It's a second-rate competition. The only real value it has is that you can qualify for the Champions League through it. A top club is never going to look back fondly on a Europa League trophy, because all it does is remind them what a bad place they were in at the time. If you'd offered United this trophy or 4th in the Premier League, they'd have taken 4th every time.

I don't understand the logic in that. If winning the EL gets you seeded 1st in the following season's CL, then why would finishing 4th in the league be preferable? It's nonsensical.

The main difference between Inter and Sevilla is their forward line. I don't think Sevilla will have enough

Anything is possible if they are as efficient as they were against United, and they have lots of experience in this tournament.

Inter looks like the favorite though.

I mean if it didn't. If you could have either the EL trophy or a CL spot, it would be the CL spot every time.

Losers don’t like to take risks.

The 'risk' in that scenario would be trying your luck in the CL, not taking the EL trophy.

Reminds me of 2016 when Sevilla played against Liverpool in EL final. The most people said that Liverpool will trash them but Sevilla showed one more time that this competition is something else for them and outplayed the Reds to win 3-1.

EL final today, for those not aware(i didnt before somebody told me...).

I think Inter have better individual quality than Sevilla, and so, will have more of the ball, and try to dominate the game.

Sevilla where efficient against United, perhaps thats the key this time too.

Great send-off for Sevilla.

De Jong starting ahead of En-Nesyri, otherwise no surprises in the lineup.
