S.S. Nazio ultras at it again. Stabbed a 25-year old Briton in Rome.

In other news, Levante and Atleti are on a roll, which means there are 6 Spanish teams in total that are progressing into the knock-out rounds.

I think at least two of the suspects were actually identified as Roma ultras. Not that it matters though, it's still pathetic and disgusting. Apparently there's some Far Right march going on in Rome, and with Tottenham's historic link to the Jewish community, they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. So it wasn't some organized ultras thing but politically charged and nothing to do with football.

Meh, I think i'm resigned to the fact that everyone outside of Italia has Lazio branded as scum and Roma as the good guys. Its really not the case, but the reputation seems ingrained.

Udinese are such a disgrace, at least we have Lazio, Inter and Napoli somewhat balancing out the embarrassment to Italy's coeff.

2/3 Spanish sides move on thanks to Pathetic Bilbao. All three English clubs move on, I guess the Europa league is suddenly going to be considered a great tournament.

Levante getting smashed by Hannover.

Great comeback though.

By winning group Liverpool's poss opponents include Inter, Atl Madrid, Gladbach, Stuttgart, Napoli, Leverkusen, Zenit, Ajax - Tough. #lfc

I'd love to play any of them as this is what european football is all about pitting your wits against top class opponents.

Would love to play 'Gladbach as we have a good history with them and our clubs official supporter's clubs are interlinked too. So it would good to relive past glories and play them again.

Atletico, Inter and Ajax would also be great occasions and games. So I say bring it on! I love these european nights so I am hoping we draw one the aforementioned 3 or 'Gladbach.

We've played Napoli in this competition only 2 years ago so I wouldn't really want to play them again. Zenit and Stuttgart would be boring ties.

Plus Chelsea :D Udinese aren't a disgrace as it was a tough group with 3 other decent teams.

They had a tough group for sure but they were completely dominated. Liverpool and Anzhi is one thing but finishing behind Young Boys, really?

Young Boys are actually a good team. I watched both games against them and they showed lots of skill and pace on the ball and from our first game I did tell everyone that they would at least get 3 points from their other 2 home games. As it happened they won both, so it goes to show they weren't as bad as made out to be.
