Reading a RM forum and they're suggesting UEFA threatened pile after pile of lawsuits to the extent that companies like AMZN and such wouldn't want to get involved in the mess.

Also, RM fans are absolutely bricking it as Perez is the epicenter of all this.

Hehe...

Hilarious that they're 13 time CL winners.

Barca should also be bricking it. Like Jammy says, this is a win for EPL and nobody else.

They are guessing as Amazon came out and said were not playing a part in it.

Reaction of fans is what has brought about end.

The clubs PR in this was awful.

Unlike some on this forum, I accept my Ls when they happen.

W for serghei from our discussion this morning. UEFA (somehow, someway) has more power than even 12 big clubs.

Regardless, the format of the CL needs some serious revamping or we will find similar frustration/breakways in some years. Or a shift towards EPL as the single dominant league.

Yh fair play. Didn't expect the ESL to last for 2 days. In hindsight they shot themselves in the foot with that dumb founder status those 15 clubs would get. Might have panned out differently if they didn't.

Btw absolutely hilarious how the midtable muppets Arsenal and Spurs are still not pulling out.

The power of UEFA is nowhere near the top of the list of why this failed.

It is reaction of fans.

Tell malvolio that. Geezer thinks fans had nothing to do with it.

fans? two banners around some stadiums and some people getting mad on internet forums? you are speaking as if there are riots going on all over europe.

nobody gives a shit. maybe the english do as they have strong support even for lower tier clubs. but since ESL isn't about dropping the local leagues and it's just an alternative for the current CL/EL, don't see why would they be so wound up about it.
