I agree on the first point but the problem is Perez/Agnelli/Glazers are worse than UEFA. Agnelli is known for all his condescending comments about Atalanta who shouldn't be in CL according to him (Roma should because better brand). Perez really did himself, Real Madrid and the ESL a disservice. He showed he was an enemy of the sports and only serving his interests first and those of his accomplices. No need to talk about the Glazers who are only in football to leech from MU.

Given those guys would be the chairmen, it is better to side with the lesser devil (UEFA mafia).

The problem is not that they criticized UEFA and expose the problems with the current CL format. It's that their proposed Superleague was complete shit even before it started. It's as if a child made the rules.

if 12 clubs want their own circus what's the wrong in that? ferencvaros or slavia praga can just play in a competition with similar clubs. and really compete, not cash out and get trashed.

and it's the same story for most clubs. CL is just a cash cow for the likes of napoli, lyon or dortmund.

If was marketed as a more fair CL replacement the backlash would have been minimal. I think the fact is UEFA/FIFA gained the narrative as well as Gary Neville for going viral. If none of that happened it would have been less of a thing then it is now. Perez was an idiot flaunting yesterday too.

PSG wasn't among the dirty 12. In fact, Nasser is the biggest winner of this whole things and got praised by Ceferin and UEFA lol. Nasser is the new king !

Funny thing is i don't even think PSG was so against this Super League idea . Thankfully, the owner agenda is about keeping nice relationship with the political powers of the French state (Macron was vocally against this project) and of the game (UEFA and FIFA for World Cup). On top of that, BeinSport wouldn't shoot a competition they have invested big money in.

PSG never coud have been one of the 12 betrayers.
