European Super League

ESL isn't happening(not now, anyway), so i dont understand why RM, Barca and Juventus are choosing to die on this hill.

1. La Liga can't punish us since they already hate us due to being Catalan and wanting indenpendence. They are refereeing against us either way already.
2. Uefa can't hurt us since we either way lose 0:4 to 0:8 against anyone in a round of 16 of a CL
3. sponsors won't get mad since we won't be that attractive due to a state of La Liga, Messi leaving and us being a crap in a CL

So, Barca has nothing to lose, except some moral points from football purists fans who hate money and elitism.

Official: Disciplinary proceedings have been opened against Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus for a potential violation of UEFA?s legal framework.

We'd be fucked without the Champions League money. Also, if they give us a 75m euro fine, that would put us one step closer to bankruptcy.

wonder where Messi and CR would go if that happens

I think Ronaldo will go back to Utd in any case. Messi could join City.

Say if we get a really big fine and have no Champions League money next season, we probably can't afford to keep Messi in any case.
