European Super League

No, the exact opposite would happen if we both were shit, the league would have more challengers.

Actually, I am still on the fence as to whether we should keep Messi or let him leave. Him leaving will make us a lot weaker in the short term yes, but prolonging his departure might make us weaker in the long run, or prolonging our recovery.

So Uefa are opting to ban the trio and let us run up legal fees.

Can we afford to take Uefa in a long running case to CAS?

The 6 Premier League clubs involved in the Super League will send an official request to Florentino Perez on Monday asking him to DISSOLVE the Super League. If he refuses, they will consider legal action. Chelsea have already hired Lawyers.

I cannot see how they could punish them. At present they have not done anything, only proposed doing something.

Lol, those 6 Premier League clubs think they look so noble in this ESL deal after they backed out on the same day, but look like absolute clowns that got scared shitless when the big daddy slammed his fist into the dinner table.

Worst of the lot after the dust settled.

Not to mention those EPL clubs still have not withdrawn their funds from the company the 12 formed to manage the ESL.

They want to have the cake and eat it too. English hypocrites.

Imo, they are smart. What matters is not if UEFA can sanction them. What matters is the domestic turmoil they were (going to) face. They publicly backtracked while probably waiting the time when they will be given the green light. No backlash.

Bar?a, Real, Juve are totally different. Their fans are actually supporting the ESL. No threat from government.

Not quite.

The press has stated there are fines for leaving the agreement and they dont want to pay those so if gets abandoned by all its over.

Nothing to do with being hypocrites but defending their position.
