So City and PSG accepted FFP and did not abolish it in court.. to stop spending being too high.

FFP issues have so far been determined by CAS. But settlements agreed by UEFA have at times had no rhyme or reason. If a club, unhappy with a CAS ruling, or deemed unfair settlement requirements by UEFA, decided to challenge the ruling in the Civil courts, they may have a strong case.
FFP being in error for a breach of EU Competition law.
UEFA appear to be prosecutor and mediator. Who gets a sanction and who gets a settlement? The difference in settlements. A club unhappy with this outcome could go to Civil Court to challenge.

I am not sure about this. From a legal perspective (I admit I don't know much) and based on precedents, UEFA's case is probably not entirely without merit. I am hoping this is the end of it but it looks like UEFA is not giving up just yet.

FIFA cannot ban the clubs as long as they respect regulations in the FIFA/UEFA competitions they participate in. This is simple. FIFA/UEFA don't have a monopoly on the sport. Nobody is forcing them to recognize the competitions that are not under their schedule.

FIFA would lose royally if this goes to the Swiss Federal Court.

Wonder how this will affect UEFA going forward? Imagine if there is a breakaway again in the future and this time clubs won’t get a shit about whiny English fans

To prevent such a breakaway from happening again. In future each club agreeing to enter a competition without the consent of the league (EPL)would pay a fine of 25m and receive a 30-point deduction. Guardian 10/6/21

The Home Office has agreed to the FA changing its rules in light of the attempt to form a breakaway Super League in April so that the organisation can withdraw its Governing Body Endorsement (GBE) needed for work permits.


Super league is officially dead , since it means no english club will join
