European Super League

Also, I think it's possible that legally, the clubs can't be stopped from entering a new competition, as long as they respect all the rules imposed by the FIFA/UEFA competitions that they take part in. I don't think it's written anywhere in the rules and regulations that you can't participate in a non-FIFA or non-UEFA competition. And don't think it's legal to impose something like that, because FIFA/UEFA don't own football alltogether.

 So, I think theoretically, we could have CL and Superleague coexisting, with Superleague being done around the CL dates, so that the participants in Superleague would not breach the CL rules and draw hefty penalties in all competitions under FIFA ruling (including World Cup and such). But it would be a matter of time before the competitions will get into a conflict, and the penalties for breaching CL rules will be very drastic with zero tolerance.

Would be funny if the teams will play in both competitions and use subs in CL, and the real players in the Superleague to further undermine FIFA and UEFA. But it's all theoretical anyway.

That?s precisely why the British government is creating new laws to stop them. You can?t beat new laws tailored to stop it. :p

Off topic, but does no else on this forum have issues with him literally copy and pasting other forum replies? He has copied long replies from redcafe, bluemoon, and juventuz forum users and posted it here. Dude's taking trolling to a whole another level.

We need a character like Amoebagician on this forum. Otherwise it's too serious.

Thats right but the main thing was that these days most people from other countries than england watch them because of the players.

But the world cup is watched because it's the world cup. Just like the Olympics is watched because it's the Olympics. It's a global competition between countries.

There's a few players, who bring out people who aren't fans of football with Messi being one and maybe Ronaldo but that's about it. Everyone else is watching it because it's the World Cup. Most of those casual fans don't even know who the top European players are beyond those two.

Maybe you are right. Probably you see the bigger picture involving countries that do not traditionally watch football like the US.
I just have the impression of my small Balkan country and generally in Europe. Everyone will watch Mundial because it is Mundial regardless if Mbape or Salah are playing.
Even smaller games like Turkey vs Poland. People are watching them because it is the Mundial the biggest tournament the exists.

Of course this isnt wrong as you said there always will be a certain amount of people who watch this matches because of the world cup but my experience these days tells me that the players give most people the motivation to watch it. My father told me once that everyone at his work and there were hundreds of people who watched argentinia in 1986, there were many non-football fans but they still watched argentinia? Why have they do that? Because of Diego Armando Maradona.

I'm surprised he hasn't come out saying that Ceferin or Perez talked to him directly.

Just like how he claimed Pique spoke to him directly that he was fine to play in PSG game.

Don’t underestimate Messigician’s sources. He’s got some serious contacts in the footballing world.

Well, they have to get clever about it, if the law to stop it breaks international law, it could simply be thrown out.

International law? What international laws? I don't think they plan on committing genocide.

They left the EU so they could do precisely this kind of thing.

Another phenomenon. Ask him how many of those people could name one more player that played for Argentina.

If those clubs banned those players his friends would probably have never known it. There simply isn't any player who rises to that level in world football once Messi and Ronaldo retire.

No, they cant just break international law on a whim just because they left the EU.

Making laws(that works) isnt as simple as you think.
