Mercedes and McLaren felt for Charles and decided to fuck up the strategy too.No further rain till the end of the race. Max will likely win, but it's due to luck with incidents and McLaren still being green with strategies. If only Lando didn't follow Russel into the pit he could have achieved victory.
I disagree... Max didn't put one foot wrong and was very very fast, he was better and faster than the whole grid. The rest of the grid made many mistakes, every single one of them - and they weren't as fast as Max. Some luck yes, but he created his opportunities and took them on top of a near perfect drive. There are many good drivers - Lando, Sainz, Russel, Leclerc, Hamilton, Alonso etc - but Verstappen is generational, he's there with Schumi, Senna and the best and probably better than many of them.No further rain till the end of the race. Max Verstappen that was a masterclass for the ages. One of those drives that will be remembered for years to come.
Lando should be embarrassed by that assessment once he’s had a chance to cool off especially as he had a poor race today. In this country Verstappen gets a lot of heat for his supposed lack of sportsmanship but I always find him far more gracious in defeat than Norris.Well according to Lando it was all pure luck and not much to do with talent....even though Max was in control the entire time and Lando almost spun out thrice.

He used to impress me but some of his performances and attitude in what has been a dominant McLaren for 80% of the races post Imola has shown he has a long way to go to be a champion.
Marko Helmut reveals what convinced him to sign Verstappen Helmut
Marko has explained that one particular race meeting convinced him that Max Verstappen was worth signing to the Red Bull
programme back in 2014. Racing for Van Amersfoort in Formula 3, the Dutch driver took a second hat-trick of wins at the Norisring
in changeable weather conditions, and Marko explained that that particular meeting grabbed his attention.
"The conditions were constantly changing. It rained, dried up – and there he was, I think, an average of two seconds faster than everyone else" Marko said on ServusTV. "And then it was clear that this was an extraordinary talent."
