It's no coincidence. This team would be among the top 3 with Muniesa. And a decent coach.

To be fair, Hercules was awful and didn't test the defense at all. But Muniesa's build-up passing was something sorely missed this season.

Just a couple of other points about yesterday:

• Don't know what Ie and Ca are supposed to do to get ANY playtime.
• Also kinda worrying that n CM turned RB (Patric) is doing a better job on the overlaps than a native RB (Balliu).
• Dongou still isn't where everybody wants him to be, but his link-up play was decent.
• Kiko and Roman must be the most one-dimensional players in the history of Barca B.

Dongou is very dangerous with the ball at his feet, but he has to get more involved,drop deeper to look for the ball.why did we buy IE and CA when Eusebio had no intention of playing them ?

I know that the defense wasn't tested much but I find it funny that we actually happened to keep a clean sheet coincidentally the very first game he started.

I just looked at the 2nd division table and realized... Barca B have scored more goals than any other team, and have also conceded more than every team bar one.

Most goals+assists for Barcelona B this season: Luis Alberto 9+12, Deulofeu 15+4, Rafinha 7+5, Lobato 6+6, Araujo 5+4 [via @barcastat]

If he still can't integrate into Sevilla, Alberto could remain a seriously great anchor player for the B team next season as the likes of Samper, Sandro, etc. progress and improve. If Muniesa gets promoted to the 1st team though, we will need to buy a decent CB anchor.

I don't like Deulofeu playing on the right because he is pretty bad at crossing. On the left he can cut in and shoot and serve as a deadly attacking outlet. On the right though he always either runs in and plays a blind cross or runs in and shoots from an impossibly tight angle.
