With regard to the 137m reduction in "brand value" figure that Brand Finance estimated, it is about 10% of our total value according to them. Apparently Real Madrid lost 19% of their brand value when Ronaldo left, however if I recall correctly it didn't have any real impact on their actual revenues.

So once again, this 137m is just a fictitious/BS figure based on a fictitious value estimated by that firm, not real money lost.

So what do you believe, as you appear to be on a mission to demonstrate that Messi leaving won't change anything for us in therms of revenue?

I have never said that, on the contrary, as you can see in posts above, for example #1798, I believe our revenue will be adversely impacted. I am just saying the 137m figure from Brand Finance is a fictitious figure, and I personally don't believe the 300m or 30% of our revenue figure either.

Again, I believe Messi's departure will negatively affect our bottom line. As to how much, we will have to wait until this time around next year to find out.

The Argentine and the club negotiate in the morning an offer that arrives after the farewell

Barcelona?s option is not completely closed

Barca has asked to reopen negotiations with Leo Messi.
The player's lawyers have asked PSG for more time to review the contract and offer. Nothing is closed.

If those negotiations are true then the board is full of illiterates people, who could not read a simple contract and an LL rule and do some maths months before this circus

And they can't stop embarrassing themselves & us with them.

Bar?a aren't able to sell 30,000 Camp Nou tickets to socios only, and have hence opened it up to everyone. T-shirt sales have also dropped by 80% since Monday. [@fansjavimiguel]

Can't even get 30K socis to come back to the Camp Nou after 1.5 years.

Perhaps bankruptcy wont be the worst thing for this club.

Jersey sales have dropped 80% since Monday? What a lousy tweet from Javi Miguel. Two days worth of data compared to what? The average sales of jerseys per day in the last 3, 5, 10 years? A sample of two days is insignificant, too small to indicate anything.

These guys spew out nothing but BS. Have they ever gone to school?
