I can't see di rossi leaving roma, he came out the other day and said he's going nowhere.

Anxiously waiting for the next match
man city can afford tevez 35 mill is chump change for city if that chance came i donot even think the middle easterns would blink they would just sign the check

also tevez has won everything so city would be a PERFECT new challenge for him

Tevez would be sacrificing Champions League football. That is a big sacrifice, he's played in 2 Champions League finals in 2 years.

Even though Roma aren't in Champions league, United would still have to pay over the odds for him, as he's their future captain.

Tevez has said he's staying in England and probably in the north-west. A few weeks ago I would of said he's heading for the scousers. But with their money troubles, I would say we are in the driving seat if he was to leave.

I know he's not worth £35 mill, but we have to pay more than everyone else as we aren't in Europe.

Uuuuuh no....? You being in Europe or not does not impact in any way the transfer fee you have to pay for a player. It would impact the salary you have to pay a player, but not the transfer fee you pay to another club or owner...

Back to Macheda I think he will lurk in the shadows this year as a Cup player. Man U will definately sign another striker.

Yeah agree about Macheda. I said before that Macheda has only played something like 8 matches at reserve level, and then add the 3-4 first team games. The way the media overhyped him has only been dangerous to his development because you can't expect the impossible from a 17 year old. He will be vastly underachieving compared to his hype earlier on.

So when Bojan broke into the first team squad you never allowed him a bad game even though he was 17 years of age are you crazy .

The very fact he was on the field for Manchester United at 17 tells you something about the lad Fergie would never play someone who wasnt up to the standard needed to win a game.

Kiko will be good no doubt maybe the hype went crazy but if were honest if we had drawn or lost that game the scousers would of more than likely won the league .

the big advantage macheda has is that he's physically developed at 17. he's a big motherfucker (and a hard bastard according to fergie) so that will allow him to play regularly and improve through experience quicker than most teens who are still scrawny things.

and yeah he's a ready-made greasplacement for senor ding dong.

Nope nothing of the sort.
I'm just stating the plain fact that the media said he's the best young player in the world blahblahBSBSBSblah, and I'm just saying that he won't live up to that tag, it would be almost impossible after so little experience. I would excuse him any bad games and still acknowledge his potential. However, imo, relative to the hype that he was given by the ridiculous English media, he will underachieve.

Where on earth did the media say that they got excited over here but they also put it into prespective that he was very young he has a long road ahead but to pick on him for a few games at the end of a long season is just bullshit.

Yup what Esteve said.
Every pre-game reported by Sky, you could hear the commentator saying "teenage sensation Kiko Macheda will be looking to come on from the bench and make the difference again. He is the hottest young prospect out there, the new Manchester United gem..." Then garbage.com did that "Exclusive profile" and suddenly every United fan knew who Macheda was, they took full credit for him and they said he would be the new Ronaldo and whatnot.
They made those stupid post-match conference remarks about Macheda being too young to share the champagne time and time again, that he was so young and so good. Frankly, it was disgusting.

frankly, you're all acting like jealous bitches.

the media went batshit, of course they fucking did.

HE IS 17 YEARS OLD AND SCORED THE WINNING GOAL IN THE LAST SECONDS OF A CRUCIAL MATCH IN HIS FIRST EVER FIRST-TEAM APPEARANCE.

that is quite literally the stuff of dreams. they lost it and rightly so.

if a barca player had done something similar we'd all be losing our shit over it.

no one's comparing him to greats (as happens with players like benzema, for example) they're just remarking what an absolutely incredible debut this young man had (and then he repeated the trick a week later). he's a special prospect, like many young players are, but the media hype was surrounding the importance of his goals and how this kid had basically set united on their way to the title.

just ask eddy how important that goal was and you'll soon understand the reason people can't shut up about him.
