tell me where did Newcastle finish last season?

Despite playing your best ever season for a decade - behind Spurs. Who bottled a 10 point lead and finished behind Arsenal themselves. Scott Parker >>>>>>>>>> Cabaye. Bale >>>>>>>>>> Ben Arfa. Adebayor >>>>>>>>>> Demba Ba. Obviously.

He never stopped being a very good player. The talent has always been there.

At Chelsea, he doesnt really have anyone consistenty creating chances for him, nor does the style of play suit him.

He had plenty of goalscoring chances with Chelsea and plenty of laughable misses..playing at the World Cup injured has had a bad effect on him though and only recently he looks like he might regained his pace.

With La Roja, he has Xavi, Iniesta, and Silva to supply him and he can use his pace to beat the defenders.

Yes, Torres has Xavi, Iniesta and Silva to suply him with Spain and yet he has a worse goalscoring record with his NT then Messi or Cristiano, who are constantly being criticized although those 2 have Gago, Masche, Brana/Meireles, Veloso, Moutinho to support them. We will see how he will do in the next game(s) because without Villa next to him, Fernando has to step up.

Llorrente and co. on the bench must feel bad. Torres does nothing to deserve a call up and then even gets into starting 11.
That is after Cesc did the important work and scored vs. Italy. del Bosque then lets Torres have the glory scoring against one of the easiest opponents of the Euro.

Torres will cost Spain EURO, unless del Bosque comes to his mind (which will never happen, I mean, playing Alonso?)
