Torres has turned into a scorer of important goals, instead of a good goal scorer.

But People need to stop saying Torres is back, they played Ireland. Let's think realistically here, wait till they play real competition

His touch is still a bit heavy. And I reckon "La Moustache" (zanela ) will go with Fabregas in the big games to have more control of the game. But the determination on the first goal was a glimpse of his best self.

Indeed and a very torres-esque goal he scored. Needs to start playing his game again, I'm glad to see him at least finding some breathing room.

He just signed with the wrong team which doesn't suit his style of play, he was stupid and greedy. If this guy was playing for barca he would've scored many goals. i'm a believer in his talents.

As an Atletico fan from birth, I somehow doubt he'd consider even RM.

Scousers thought he love Liverpool but he changed colors overnight, he is a merc, dont expect anything higher from him.

With all due respect to Liverpool, Atletico Madrid v. Real Madrid is bit of a different type of affair. He wasn't raised a Liverpool fan (not saying his choice was the correct one), and in Spain this carries plenty of weight.

Though then again, Xabi did go to Real being a Sociedad type...

Yeah, i meant it stylistically, not as a reaity that should ever have happened. I think Manchester United would also suit him down to the ground, fast breaking teams with top class players.

Its a wonder he does so well with spain though, if my opinion is correct...maybe any striker could do well with spain.

He never stopped being a very good player. The talent has always been there.

At Chelsea, he doesnt really have anyone consistenty creating chances for him, nor does the style of play suit him.

With La Roja, he has Xavi, Iniesta, and Silva to supply him and he can use his pace to beat the defenders.
