I don't know, I really like him, his workrate and linkup play is really cool and just something about him is really likable to me. It's not something I can logically justify, he's just one one of those players who I like no matter what. I guess I like his attitude and how he crawled out of the whole he was in, the fact he's even playing well these past two seasons is phenomenal to me. 
Where did you see his acceleration being better than nowdays? And not of course he can't be back, old Torres was 2008, it's been 5 years. He carried problems with injuries after that, he has lost his speed from that too. I wouldn't call call someone SO good who can't finish primary chances. Definitely the most overrated player when comes to overreactions, everybody finds a chance to praise him even when it's an easy goal or generally he scores on goal after a bad performance. And about his attitude personally i don't see it as a very good one, maybe i could be wrong but on Confederations cup he seemed selfish and wanted to score goals against Tahiti like he wanted to prove that he's not bad or smthing.

He's not as fast as he used to be, but he looked faster than he has in some time. At his best, he's world class. Torres has always been inconsistent but he's come up clutch many times. Hate Chelsea and Mourinho with a passion but its nice to see El Nino doing well.
Now I am convinced that Torres is the bench CF we need.

We should have got him on loan in the last window as the rumours were that we were offered him ..
