No matter what he does no one can take away anything he did before Chelsea/injuries ruined him. He was such a joy to watch and every team absolutely feared him. Hope this next chapter proves more fruitful for him than his last 2, a player of his ability doesn't deserve to end his career as a running joke.

Is it just me or does it seem like he scored against Barcelona almost everygame during his first spell at Atleti?

Watching his Liverpool goals again in complete awe. Barely any tap ins and no penalties, he was so smooth and graceful in full flight. Then again perhaps that's the major reason why he can't score these days, didn't have natural poacher instincts everything was purely off individual ability.

Watching this and then watching him play for Chelsea really makes me feel sorry for him. I honestly do. He has just lost it all. I hope Atleti brings the best out of him, I really do.
