I've seen enough of him, trust me. He's decent at best, and the injuries don't help his case at all.

Iv watched him a heck of alot, Trust me, hes a great creative midfielder. Just Rafa is about as Bright as a Walrus.

He was adored at Roma for a reason, Your right about the Injuries tho.

he's talented but obviously he cannot carry the team as Gerrard did, a true box to box midfielder with tremendous stamina who always had the ability to add efficiency to the team, so in that aspect Aqualiani cannot fill the void but we shouldn't discount the fact that Aqualiani always would have had difficulty adapting from italy to england and on top of that he had to deal with recurrences of injury with a huge tag of expectation on him.

I've always said it would be ridiculous for us to sign Torres. I'm still surprised there was even a thread about him coming to Camp Nou.

He wasn't that great for Roma, there's a reason why more than half of his appearances are from the bench than not, and that wasn't just because of the injuries. He was loved because he was their own youth product, much like Totti and De Rossi, but he never lived up to the expectation like De Rossi did. But I guess Torres was hardly a world beater when he went to Liverpool, so he can always improve...

re: Aquilani, he has come through a few times for LFC but overall he just has failed to impress, although I suppose more playing time may change that. But I'll be surprised if he stays more than another season, there was already a bid for him from Juve although I hear that was rejected. I'm definitely up for giving him another chance though as he could definitely improve with more minutes on the pitch

Wouldn't mind seeing Torres at Chelsea, but I doubt he's the type to go from Liverpool to Chelsea, nor would he come at a fair price.

What would you think a fair price for the best available striker in the world?

I highlighted that word before the idiots and villa fan boys jump on my back.

I really don't know, definitely not 70m like is being said in the media. Plus taking into consideration how injury prone he is, that'd lower his price for me too. I'd say what Barca payed for Villa would be a fair price for Torres.

Torres is significantly younger, therefore more expensive...
