Stop with this Torres thing people, it's very unlikely to happen. Rosell is going to win, but hopefully he doesn't emphasise his desire to bring this player and that. Besides we don't need him with Ibrahimovic still in the team and very much a part of furture plans.

Ibra will likely be gone and Villa will have had a few good years with us and will be getting up in age while Torres will still be under 30. Might be less of a pain in our budget too by then.

Well unless he comes for free to us after couple of years I can't see now Liverpool letting him go for less than 50 millions, so imagine how could his price tag rise. This would be insane to pay for him like 70millions, unless we find a good deal in swaping players etc.

when players age their value tends to decline, not in a million years will Torres be 70 million when he's 28/29. Now his price is hot he is mid 20's and it's not a secret that there's clubs interested in him.

Exactly, prices can deteriorate just due to age, not due to injury... by then it's possible that he won't be a hot item for many teams either so we wouldn't have to set a competitive price. I suspect we could get him for a similar price as Villa at that time
