Fifa Ballon d'or 2015

Since I have a lot of contacts in the football world, I was seeking out opinions on the d'Or (like who voted for who) and guys.... Ronaldo has 2nd place locked, though this isn't a landslide for Leo at all. Its not close, per se, Leos definitely got it, but the gap isn't as big as it should be. However, appallingly, 2nd over 3rd seems to be a landslide- and neither Suarez or Neymar have got it based on the info I have. Neymar is getting very few, and Suarez is just behind Muller and a few others.

Asia/ME/Africa with more CR votes than Europe and SA, which is to be expected from areas of the world where media and PR plays a massive role.

More media votes than coach or captain going CRs way, again, especially in aforementioned areas.

But Neymar being undervoted it seems, and Suarez may be pipped to 3rd simply by vote spread.

Take this with a pinch of salt obviously- this is all a combination of genuine disclosures from friends and friends of friends, rumor, opinion etc

Might be, but this is last year CR is 2nd place. Nobody can turn blind eye on his downward spiral that has reached new heights in last 2 months. When he continues like this for 4-5 months, its lights out. He aint going to be infront of Neyboy next time...

I know, but many people do confuse the two tbh, they don't strictly follow January 1st - December 31st timeline. Many go on how CR was great in beginning of year, when he was actually scoring like nuts in beginning of a season, and that was rewarded in last Bdor. In any case, Neymar hasn't started building up his case until last few weeks to be frank, but next year he will be ahead of Ronaldo no doubt.

there is definitely something to this. i've read comments where people wanted müller or neuer to win this year's trophy based on the world cup.

Me thinks the reason why Norway had gone with Ronaldo is because Odegaard, their national treasure that they are fixiated with, is with Real Madrid and they would not risk doing anything that might potentially upset Real Madrid.

As to Lewandowski's votes, if they are true, then it is comical. Vote the best three players in the world, not the best teammates in your club. Vidal? What an overrated player.

iirc, vote is counted as invalid, but only the wrongful part though.
