Not just me everyone here who is suggesting bravo to be in ballon d'or list. That is as clear as the day unless you care to give me an explanation.

Busquets not there, while Toure, Kroos and Bale are, is a travesty.

Busquets problem is that there is already so many Spanish players and players from Barcelona. Toure's advantage is that he is African - and the only African in the list. Bale might not be in it because of his contribution for Real but for that for his national team - and he is the only British player in the list. As much as I like Robben - he was out of play since March even if he was great in the time until then. But what counts for him is that he is the only player of the Netherlands that is anywhere near the list.

This year for sure was Messi's. No doubt about that. He will win it by a big margin.

CR7 will come second - even if I do not like it. But there is enough fanboys that believe into the hype.

I told it before - the third will be interesting. Usually it should be one of Suarez or Neymar - but it could be that they take each other the points away and the South American votes - atleast that of the coaches and the media - might go to the players that shone in the Copa.

Really? You too? Sorry, but I have no idea how anyone could interpret "Cunts." as an insult to Icarium in the context provided, not to mention grammar.

Not the case with me. I'm confused, if your second comment applies to you or is "Cunts" classy language?

Alright...

So you state that Bravo should be first regarding best goalkeepers, after which you post an emoticon, indicating that you are of course joking.

I understand that you are joking and respond in an equally jesting manner, providing a ridiculous comparison according to which I would be deserving of being named Time Magazine's Man of the year (sorry, Person of the year ofc, they are no longer sexist but PC), yet the people making the lists for contention and deciding on the eventual winner chose to ignore me (the last part is implicit, but really obvious at that). After which I put a typical American insult, like "Cunts.", which is used similarly to "Bastards." in the American everyday English language and is usually not meant as an actual insult to the persons referred to, if the context is obviously not a serious matter. So in this context, "Cunts." of course refers to the people responsible for naming Time Magazine's person of the year, and by no means to you or anyone else on this forum.

Bravo was the best GK of LL last season AND the winning Captain of Chile in the Copa America, so therefore it wouldn't have surprised me(or should've surprised anyone else) at all if he were in the 23 man list.

Although he didn't play in the CL and the CDR which might also be the reason he's not in the list.

It's not a cop-out. It's the logic of language.

I thought my intention was clear, yet it apparently wasn't and caused much more confusion than I could have imagined it would. For that, I apologize. For the future, I will be more careful when making a joke...

Okay let's pretend this never happened and move along. But no 80% of the people wouldnt think is a joke. In fact people who know how you react to criticism towards any player from Bayern I would make that 100% among those people.

I remain adamant that by grammar and context this really should never have come across as an insult to anyone here. But alright, water under the bridge then. ;)

btw, I actually like to think that I'm at least somewhat objective about most Bayern players, although I admit that there are really just a few that I will always jump up to defend (Neuer, Alaba, Müller, Lewandowski, Boateng, to be more exact) if I feel they are being belittled by random guy x on the internet while that guy continues to make some ridiculous claim about another player in comparison. Let me be clear, I'm most definitely not referring to you in that case and I'm fully aware that such behaviour is still borderline stupid and childish. This is the internet after all, with often fully-grown men arguing about football/football players... essentially one giant waste of time, if we are perfectly honest to each other. :p

Neither. Messi is going to win anyways, and most likely deservingly so this year. The entire election and all discussion around it are essentially pointless. :p

Bravo? Because he had a good La Liga season for Barca and a good Copa for Chile makes him the 2nd best gk in the world?

Then why is Neuer there, he plays in the shit BundesLOL and was destroyed in the CL when he faced a serious team, by that logic only Buffon should have been on the shortlist for GK

¡Gr?*cies Xavi!
Now that I think about it, why is Robben even there? He's been injured for the most part and has only played 18 matches this year.
