Ah well, I was a bit pissed at how Mascherano, Aguero and a bunch of others were allowed to bully Schweinsteiger, Kramer and Lahm for 120 minutes. I'm okay again now and already gave credit to Argentina. They deserve the praise.

Exactly. When you got the name on the cup, the most complex of them goals prove the easiest of them all. It wasn't meant to be for my albiceleste. I was resigned to losing before the match, as i didn't think they could go that extra mile. ARG's only chance was to win in the 90 mins, and when that didn't happen, there was only going to be one winner.

Sabella's journey that started at the salt lake stadium, leaves behind beautiful memories that I will cherish for a long time. I won't blame any one player for the defeat, for each one of them 've contributed in some way or the other for getting this far. The team's perceived weakest piece, defence+Masch was the team's HERO over the 7 games. Tough luck about the injuries to the forwards.
Its now twice Sabella's came close to winning a Cup final (other being Club WC), but denied by a pep trained team. But I love the old man, gracious and humble at all times, he's shown the team the way, and his work will allow his successor to determine the way forward. Thanks for the memories, sir Alex.

Because Messi missed a clear chance I dont feel as bad. Higuain and Stupid Palacio could have won the world cup for Argentina. We missed chances and the Germans were stronger later on because our fatigue.

I could feel much worse but I'm alright when I know the opponent diserved it as well
