I was there at the Salt lake stadium that day. Followed them through n through. Heartbreaking really. Especially for Leo. Gotze's goal was one of a kind. It wasn't meant to be. :(

%100 right, many beautiful memories in this journey to the final. Who can forget Messi's freekick against Uruguay? The 2-3 Colombia com-back in Bogota, or the beauties that Messi scored against Nigeria, Iran and Bosnia in Brazil?
Palacio was the worst choice from day one. This I hate Sabella for, everything else Thank you coach!

Too many chances wasted from Argentina, first half in the first 20-30 minutes they had the game on their hands to bring a goal. Higuain missed the chance of his life with an amateurish finish...

I'm OK with Lavezii, I'm OK with Palacio, I know their level and didn't expect the world from them, but Higuain is hugely overrated while Aguero is a fragile moth, so overrated, why? Thank Man City we didn't spend tons on him, just a lousy wreck.

Messi was supposed to have a great supporting cast of attackers. It turned out they were shit bar di Maria and it was the defence that was awesome.

Di Maria out, Agüero not fit, Higuain in worst form of his life. Still, Messi had a decent backup in Lavezzi but Sabella thought different.
In the end I am pleased Germany won but I still feel sad for Messi. This was his golden opportunity to cement his place as best player ever.
