Francesc "Tito" Vilanova

I must say the team doesn't look to press like hell to recover a ball like they used to the last couple of years. Now it is 1 or 2 players putting pressure on the ball... Or am I wrong in noticing this?

You are not wrong. I noticed this too. Our pressing is a bit off. Especially in midfield areas. Pedro, Sanchez and Alves are still pressing like mad. The rest of the team isn't. I don't know if it's instructions from Tito or the lack of fitness so early in the season. But we're not pressing as aggressively as we can as a team. Which also kinda explains why the defense looks so shaky.

At least he has had a much better start than Pep.

Pep won 6 titles in his first year. Tito already lost one.

Cesc is playing bad, Alexis is playing bad, even Messi, is playing bad, Villa is not playing at all, and with Guardiola, we always won in Santiago Bernabeu. Tito couldn't even win the first one.

If there's someone I'd have to blame, then that would be surely Tito Villanova. Last match against Madrid we were pretty much raped the first 30 minutes (with Guardiola this never happened, as Xavi would say, we always were "superior").

So, basically the guy who was assistant during our most succesful ever period, who has now started as manager with 9 points in 3 league games and lost a supercup on away goals (as in, the score was 4-4 after 180 minutes) to Real Madrid (the team who beat us to the league last year, mind you) is already getting stick.. He was never going to get an easy ride, was he? Oh, and btw, we played a better overall supercup this year than we did last year, where we were dominated in the first leg, then matched them in the second. This time we dominated a game each; well, in reality, Madrid only dominated 30 of the 180 minutes. So, all in all, we have lost one game (away, against Real Madrid, with ten men for most of the game), and won four (including a home game against Valencia, a hard away game against Osasuna (which we lost under Pep), and a home game against Real (we lost the last of those under Pep as well)). Sure makes sense that he is taking criticism right now...
