I hate how there is more importance to his stepping down than his illness. :(

I agree. There is so much talk going on about who's going to replace Tito. This is not the right time.
Seriously though, I don't really care who the replacement is, I just want Tito to get better and return as soon as possible.

So the team also don't know a thing?

I can't imagine Tito leaked the news so it was probably someone at the hospital otherwise how the hell would someone like Balague scoop this sort of story?

But it wouldn't surprise me that the players don't/didn't know, the speculation was that no official word from the club was going to come until Tito was able to talk to the players...but in this age of twitter, news is instantaneous

How unusual would it be for Pep to return eh?...Would he revert back to his nuances to tactics rather than forge ahead with Tito's more aggressive approach?...So many variables to consider

only the best for tito

i dont think pep will return even if this is a spcial situation i think pep has already a plan and its too early for pep to take over again... although we shouldnt really talk about something like this because its disrespektful imo... lets see whats happening and pray that tito will be fine

Barcelona sources deny report that they have already sounded out Guardiola and Luis Enrique about replacing Vilanova after his relapse. [md]

Everyone wants that but it's folly to think we'll be privy to his progress...Everyone was in the dark about his progress after the first tumour and similarly with Abidal's plight against cancer and then the transplant...It'll take time and we won't know much until he's out of the woods or it takes a turn for the worst

Anxiously waiting for the next match
Hope the operation is going smoothly and he will be on the road to recovery soon, I do not care really about if he is still the coach

that problem will sort itself out

The first time nobody except he and his wife knew about the tumour. Not even Pep was told until Tito went to the operating room. Tito is a very reserved person so I can understand Pinto doesn't know a thing.

There is a lot of support coming in from around the footballing world, even Madridistas, respect to them.

Horrible news just out of nowhere. I feel like shit at the moment.

Its not the right time to talk about a replacement. There is only one thing we should all do now and that is to wish him a speedy recovery.

I really just want to know how is Tito doing, and if is really true he had/is having an emergency surgery.
