Ofcourse we are offloading few players this season. be sure of that...i am hoping we dont get another heart attack...

Are you worried about villa, pedro, or both? I think keita, afellay and fontas will probably go. I really hope rosell doesn't sell villa or pedro...

Tito has been the idea man during the Pep era. He knows the players, which is a huge advantage with dealing with the huge number of games these players have to play. These factors will minimize the transition.

The club did not promote Tito to ignore him. All player moves will go through him, like it was with Pep. He won't always get his way, but his will be the main voice. Even if you don't like Rosell, you have to admit he is one smart cookie. He won't try to dominate his new coach, because that can't work.

Tito will have to show results. If the team drops off much, he'll get two years tops.

The big decision for Barca that led to all these cups the last few years and will lead to at least one big cup a year going forwards was not hiring Pep or hiring Tito. It was making it Messi's team. No big center forward is coming in, Messi will be playing there for a long time. Xavi, Iniesta, and Alves fit perfectly with Leo. Cesc was incredible with Leo for about half this year, that will have to stretch out next year. Villa and Pedro were fantastic with Leo the year before this. The forwards this year did not mesh as well, Cuenca was probably the best Messi complement, Alexis shows promise, Tello has some perfect skills for this job. I think a high scoring forward will be signed this summer, but it will be someone who can play on the side.

If Tito is appointed, we need a really good assistant manager. We know tito health isn't good. So he may be away frequently. Any news of the new assistant manager?

on the one hand I'm pleased because Tito will keep this attacking philosophy, he's been one of the architects behind it. On the other hand he isn't the charismatic, strong and passionate personality that Pep is. Pep has infected all players with his passion and winning mentality, he was leader and captain as a player and as a manager too. I'm in two minds about it.

I hope Pep will be back the season after next season though

I think villa is safe . Worried about Pedro , 50/50. Ibi- yes, keita , yes. Dani - Yes.( though alves sell out doesnt make sense, but many things suggest it that way, hope it stays rumor) tello/Cuenca - 50/50 .

The rumors of possible deal about Alves are... disturbing to say the least. How plausible are they exactly?
Dani has been a key player since he came in 2008. He has barely set a foot wrong why would the club be displeased with him...

Maybe the plan is to sell Dani and place Montoya as the RB this is because they think he is better defensively and bring in Alba or Bale just to change the attacking part of our fullbacks so the left back is the one who attacks regularly like Alves now and the RB is more defensive.Whatever the reasons to try and sell Alves i am surely against it,his relationship with Messi is enough to convince me that he has to stay.

I see what you did there

Yes, I agree he should join Tito, he would add to the void that Pep left, better than any other assistant IMO.
