Get far inferior player and left looking for replacement for him and Busi while going again with inferior players like Gavi and trying to mix him with Pedri...which never looks like working.

FDJ and Pedri with a DM have Barca with best or as good as any mifield going for years and a balanced one at that.

Also chances are Barca barely get 25% of any sale to invest anyway so makes no sense at all.

But just about every club in world would be in for him so would get a top move. So not too nad for him personally either way.

How much would you pay for say Gavi? Or Pedri?

That is a flawed argument anyway as paying 120m now and selling for that are not the same thing on the books.

Only way he leaves for 120m is if other top clubs do think he is worth it.

Enzo was a one off where Chelsea were prepared to massively over pay before summer when more clubs in and when rules would change to 5 year contracts to be fair.

Chelsea want to pair him and Frenkie.

Know that for a fact.. FDJ is the player Chelsea would take from Barca and rate higher than anyone else.

Salary is still way over what PL clubs pay. Chelsea paid 121m for Enzo, but are paying him 3.5x less than Frenkie earns. So there's that.

Only club in the world who would pay him more than us, he doesn't want to move to understandably (PSG).

Now if the Qatari's buy Man Utd they may go a little crazy. So who knows.

If you look through the salary mass changes for Frenkie it looks quite credible.
