I find it hilarious when people come here and whine about a player that was out for 2 months and expect him to be in form and carrying us on his third game back. You guys try too hard, and despite this your logic is still trash 😂

The defense was horrendous and our attackers were again ineffective, especially Lewa. A midfield can't function when there is no offense or defense to connect to them.

There is no plan. No structure. No tactics. Every player looks awful because Xavi and his staff have no idea what they are doing. Not a single player looks like he is carrying out a role that was instructed to him and practiced during training.

Poor coaching is 90% of the problem. Some of you understand that now, the rest are just catching up.

Had glaring issues in the past when defending. Was comical at times when played at CB, granted that wasn't his best position(even though hardly anyone knows what that is).

But that won't matter as all posts in here are "rolls-royce player", "world class", "can get in any team in the world", "once he comes back everything will click" etc

He's a good player, but way overrated.

He is not in good conditions. He is expected to be a holding midfielder + box-to-box + playmaker + covering on too many players + a defender.. when the whole team performs badly.
At this rate honestly, I see that De Jong is wasting his time in this dysfunctional team. He will only decline here.
