Everything coming from Barca states that the club is taking the approach steadily and with patience. Malcom came out of nowhere, we know Barca has been trying to lure FDJ since last summer.

Exactly. Malcom came out of nowhere. The first people that reported Malcom to Barcelona were the French press, in fact RMC, not the Barcelona press. Murillo to Barca was first reported by Superdeporte(Valencian paper), Semedo to Barca was first reported by A Bola, etc.

But can they spend so much... If they are indeed going for both De Jong and De Ligt (as someone is blindly believing), they simply can't offer more than 50 for De Jong and 70 for De Ligt, because of their spending in the last two years.

No media (Spanish, Dutch or French) has said anything about Barca talking with Ajax. The only thing that is known is that Barca has contacted FDJ and his agents and APPARENTLY has an agreement with them.
