Hi:
My team will always be Independiente de Avellaneda (the team of my youth) and Gabi Milito came up through Independiente's youth ranks. "El Mariscal" was named the captain of the team when he was 18 and Independiente had some pretty good players with a lot of experience at the time, like Cassini, Garnero, etc. He is a very special player and person. I really hope that he is fine, though.
The amazing thing about Barça is the look of concern manifested in the faces of Puyol and Xavi when Milito went down. This is a true team: "One for all and all for one." Pep has a lot to do with this - best manager on planet earth!
After Independiente sold Gabi, it was not the same team - mediocre, at best. The sale of Sergio Aguero was even worse. One season with "El Kun," we were fighting for the league title and the next, without Aguero, we were fighting relegation. Independiente is one of three teams, in Argentina, that have never been relegated (River and Boca being the other two.)
Best regards,
Hektor
