Gabriel Moscardo

I think the only person who has watched him in a match is @khaled_a_d .

Will try and get a watch one of these days.

Not yet, I've put Corinthians as a starred team on my 365 app, in hope to catch a game.
Sadly I can't watch those very late games anymore, and when they were playing earlier he was injured. Yesterday I realised he was back from injury after he was subbed out.
I tend, however to search his name on reddit and twitter during such games or after it. Trying to figure what the fans think of him rather than seeing videis from Barca, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool fans talking how their SD should do the smart thing and buy him.

Seems like the honeymoon phase is over with him.
Many comments about how they should have sold him early to cash on him, as now they will get nothing for him, how he costs them games (Yesterday it seems he missed a great chance) and how he isn't ready. Really I see rarely encouraging signs from Brazilians watching him.

But, it seems now he is played in more advanced role, a b2b or CM rather than a pure defensive CDM.
That is good as it could help hom develop his attacking abilities, and also it might be the reason he isn't performing at high level.

I hope I can catch a couple of games before the season is over, but it seems to me he isn't a guy to spend 25 or 30M on tbh.
The search for our CDM saviour shall continue.

I am brazilian, a corinthians supporter.

Moscardo is strong, tall, fast, good on the ball, has great pass and can shoot a little.

The Real deal... but still a gem, not a starter.

The problem is that he is still too hasty in his decision making.

Looks a good talent and in other times I wouldn't mind take a gamble on him. But in our current state...

1. with Bernal upcoming is Moscardo really worth spending 30m on? Is his upside that much higher? Don't know but Deco and co. should before making a decision. As well as have an answer to question if there are other more proven players we can get for similar price? Or potentially a talent who would be cheaper and so not as big gamble. Like Vermeeren for example although it looks like he's on his way to Arsenal.

2. we need someone who can take DM spot immediately not in 2-3 years. Unless ofc we'd use FDJ there. Not ideal as he's better in current role but with Fermin's emergence we should have enough depth at CM if Frenkie plays deeper.

He plays tonight, a fairly early game (one hour before Real's game) against a decent side (RB are 4th atm)

Will be good opportunity for those who want to watch him

How do you rate him in comparison to Danilo (ex-Palmiras player) and Andrey Santos?
Both were highly rated players playing the same position, one left very early and the other waited till he was more developed and both are struggling for playing time in EPL in a team fighting relegation (although Forest aren't a team with a plan)

It now seems that Barça are in the driving seat to win the race for Corinthians talent Gabriel Moscardo. @jorgenicola via @caughtoffside

I have obviously no clue about him, but at least he looks like a true DM with athletic abilities for once.

This is Deco's bet. We can only hope he knows his chalk.

In a year's time there will be a new Andrey Andre Varela de la Moscardo who will be rated even higher.

Not sure about the levels of Moscardo and Andrey Santos, but seems one year older Andrey even has issues getting playing time at a side like Nottm Forest, barely making the squad.

Whomever we buy will probably need a couple of years to adapt. Would understand it if we'd have a 31 year old Busquets who's ready to be phased out in a couple of years, but even if we buy Moscardo somebody else most likely will play at DM in 2024/2025.

Yeah I read about him like two days ago. Haven't seen a single Catalan source mention him in a long time though.

Barcelona are interested in signing Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi on a free transfer next summer. (Sky Sports)
