Gai Assulin

Wow. I was just about to write that Gai is "the next Giovani dos Santos" and I saw what Seamus said about Spurs

Anyway, I see him in a russian or turkish club in the next year or two. I don't think he'll ever become something more than an average Leo Messi imposter. I feel it's not a coincidence that our board didn't fight to keep him. Just like they didn't do it with Gio, when they saw that he's nothing special at all. (opposite to his demands, I guess)

but i guess its not just for footballing reasons.
cos if i were the board, i would try to keep him.
i mean he is only 19! but then perhaps they know something that we dont.

Surprised when I read about Assulin's release today. Always thought he was going to be a bright talent judging by FCB youth bloggers amongst other things, but perhaps not.

He remains a promising youth talent but is not as far along the development curve as some of the others in La Masia

Plus, Zahavi is a trainwreck as an agent who along with Gai apparently had the temerity to look for a Pep pledge of first team football.

He's a ways off from that, at present

Yes. He would have absolutely no chance at Man C. He will go to Man C only if he want to earn more.

Some media still believe that Gai is next Messi...LOL!

Any player with Zahavi as his agent should be asked to leave the club immediately. So with that in mind I'm not really bothered about him going, he didn't really match his hype. Not sure if even Spurs will be good for him, it's not like Gio did that well there. If Harry doesn't like you then you've got little chance.
