Just my feeling, no concrete backing or anything... but Abidal seems to be losing the pace bit by bit. It was kind of noticeable when he is playing CB. or that is may be because he doesn't have as much anticipation as do the natural center backs and hence he will fall behind!!

Kranjčar is the biggest victim but he looks set to leave,Bentley is shit anyway,Sandro is a defensive midfielder so he has nothing to do with Bale's brilliance,Keane is currently 4th choice at CF position and it was Van Der Vaart who took his place in the team,feel sorry for GDS though,he should leave to rescue his career

Holy shit I can't take it anymore.....anywhere I look I see Gareth Bale's name attached at a sentence involving him and either Messi or Ronaldo...this has to fricken stop. I don't get it...where the fuck did this come from? After the games with inter all of a sudden people see Bale as a god of a winger or something? I don't get it at all...how the fuck do you compare this guy to Messi or even Ronaldo? I hate Ronaldo soooo much...but he's so much out of Gareth bale's league it's not even funny. Listen Bale is a damn good player....he's really good i won't take that away from him. But what annoys me to no fucking end is the status people give him now. Why is his name mentioned so much of of a sudden? I don't get it lol....im sorry for even bringing this thread back up but after seeing yet another random comment on youtube saying that "Ronaldo is as good as messi and bale, but he's..." and that was it. Just what the hell?.....All this Bale talk HAS TO STOP....I mean shit look at that poll for the best player...FOURTEEN PERCENT?!?!?!?!?!?! JUST WTF MATE!

bale has much mroe than speed... The british media is overrating him, and just because they do, many other are underrating him...

you want speed only, take biabiany :p Bale has great crosses, great long shots, great FKs, power, speed, tactical awareness.. The only thing he could improve is his ball control and dribbling, in which he is decent as well. And yet, he is 21 only, so LOTS of space for improvement..
