one of the main problem could be access to booze. this was gio dos santos' downfall. liverpool is a very gritty, derelict and depressing place, a huge shock coming from sunny and wealthy barcelona. i think martinez will keep a watchful eye on him though.
Hopefully all goes well. I wonder which number he will use.

He's gonna be learning English, and the Everton kit actually looks nice on him. I expect him to get overhyped a bit in England and it'll be annoying when all the commentators call him "Delafo" or "Doolafoo"
That awkward moment. I immediately thought of your reaction, when I heard the news.Everton, yuck
Good luck to him though, hopefully it turns out well.
Don't forget :muniesa: at Stoke.seems to me masia grads aren't the smartest when it comes to picking clubs
gds,bojan and now him
hope i am wrong though
Everton are very good at developing young players, he should fit right in there, especially with a Catalan manager. What did surprise me is they are loaning out one of their own hot prospects, in Ross Barkley, yet they are bringing in an outsider.Everton isn't that bad when it comes to playing youngsters and utilizing them. Plus Martinez gonna do well with him.
For me Everton is the best choice other than Champions league clubs.
dafuk you on about?if he doesnt track back, he will be scolded by the demanding fans, and possibly assaulted. a steep learning curve for him.
Yes, and of course those pesky English eat fish & chips and drink cups of tea all day as well. .....hang on a second! :eusa_think:one of the main problem could be access to booze. this was gio dos santos' downfall. liverpool is a very gritty, derelict and depressing place, a huge shock coming from sunny and wealthy barcelona. i think martinez will keep a watchful eye on him though.
I think a loan was the best option for him. It kind of sucks that we can't really just ease him into the first team gradually, but staying in the B team would slow down his progress, as would being in the first team, so a loan was a logical choice. I'm surprised he went to the PL and not to some Liga club, but oh well. Luckily it's just a one-year loan, so whatever happens, it's done by summer 2014.
