Not to tempt fate but sure at Everton the past two years they talked about a change in his attitude at start of each season and at Milan they said the same and every time he went back to what he was before.

Energy and effort sure, but I thought he had a fair share of very stupid touches/passes. In a less open game that won't work and he doesn't seem to be a player with very many ideas. His presence on the wing did help to open the game up tho, but I believe that's just a result of occupying the flank and stretching the play which could be done by Dembele as a starter and Vidal as another backup.

EV needs to use Vidal/Deulo as the backups for the front line, not Arda/Rafinha or even Denis as Lucho used to (though Denis can be solid at times at LW).

Well, I'll have to follow him here and see if he's become a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde in terms of attitude. Considering he used to be only Mr. Hyde some years ago, I'm already seeing some improvement!

I disagree that he should of stayed on longer than suarez.


suarez i feel needs match fitness and deulofeu seems like he tires out around 60-70th minute, doesn't look like he has a lot of stamina.

What's the idea behind the 2 year deal? It means we can only sell him next summer and with a year left we'd barely get back what we paid and he could leave for nothing a year later if he's not getting enough game time after the cash investment this year.

A 3+1 would have made more sense.. I don't want him starting in Classicos or big CL games but he can be a big impact player for Barca if he wants it enough.

It was a continuation of the contract he had prior to leaving under Lucho from what I can tell. We'll probably renew him before it becomes an issue. He seems to be a favorite of Valverde even despite his stamina issues so I think this shouldn't be a problem.

Deulofeu improved, but he's still selfish. Several times yesterday Semedo made overlapping runs and Deulofeu ignored him like Neymar would with Alba

Also Deulofeu messes up many passes and dribbles. Hopefully Dembele takes his spot soon

Ignoring the overlap doesn't make a player selfish.

Even Messi messes up a lot of passes and dribbles. As does Suarez. And so will Dembele when he ultimately becomes the starter.

Deulofeu is being over-rated on here. He messes up so many passes and puts in useles crosses. Also, the only way he beats his man is with his pace anyways. He has poor decision making as well.

He'll be looking at 10-20 mins here and there now that Dembele has arrived.

Great start is stretching it a bit. But he has shown quality in some areas. If he has the right mindset and works hard he could be a fine addition yes.
