Gerard Deulofeu

At least this part is correct, lmao. Deulofeu is a one-trick pony with no imagination and a turnover machine. People can go on about "Nerman 46 ball losses" or "Di Maria crosses" rightfully, but if they turn around after that to ever say that Deulofeu is good or useful then they are major hypocrites. Simply attempting 1 action 50000 times until it might work (and it really didn't today) isn't a solution. It isn't 'perseverance' or any of that BS. It's just dumb football.

he's done better than Suarez, and Messi was lost 99% of the game. Deulofeu is supposed to be a sub, and he did a great job today. He does what he can do, even if it doesn't exceed people's expectations.

I think he did pretty well personally...
his pace is unreal and if suarez didn't suck dick deulofeu would of had two assists tonight as a sub

Who would have thought people would be pleased when he's on the team. Ya, he seems to be a one-trick pony, but it seems that's the only trick that creats some threat.

He did next to nothing and other players doing little is no real argument.

You might have missed it. Go and rewatch the game. He was the only one battling it out against defenders. I respect your view, but I don't share it.

Wearing down defenders is doing something.

When a player constantly tries to take on pllayers, instead of passing it sideways, he's forcing defender to exert themselves.

Those of us who've played football in highschool and college understand this basic concept.

"great job". Mindless dribbling, crossing, and turnovers is a "great job". Literally every player had a bad game today except Paulinho and arguably Denis. He's just a bad footballer and when the chips are down against non-clown defenses, he won't make the right decision or be useful. He's been consistently bad other than that league opener, no two ways about it.

Obviously he can't be a starter but if he starts he doesn't look out of place. I like him, our Lucas Vázquez.

He was dribbling and losing ball as for battling it out he worked hard enough but gave away quite a few stupid fouls i Barca half.

Your basic concept is way off.

It takes a little bit of practice to see the small details in football, I encourage you to keep trying. Maybe rewatch the game, and be open minded.

He did an excellent job, in my opinion. Wearing down defenders and being our biggest threat are good enough for me. :D
