He had a lot of chances because he tried to shoot everything, even from stupid angles. He had trouble with keeping the ball on the field when dribbling and had a horrendous touch on quite a few occasions. He even didn't celebrate when Arnaiz and Denis scored. Basicly he was our very own CR150.

It wouldn't be surprising if he was one of the first ones out the door this summer. Right now it seems like he's working for a contract extension and so far he hasn't shown that yeah we should give him a new long term deal.

He just has so many flaws to his game to a point where he isn't good enough to even be a backup player here. While it's true he was bought in order to fill that role as back up to Neymar then and now Dembele, but with Dembele injured this was his chance to show to Valverde he can be counted on but as we see it's simply not happening for him and us.

Still a second half of the season to go but so far it's not looking good for Deulofeu.

I admittedly had high hopes for him but he has failed thus far. Yes, he causes headaches with his pace and invariably creates chances but his dribbling is one dimensional and there’s just no end product.

The only positive at this stage is that he is better in the left wing.
