Gerard Deulofeu

I do not know. I know clubs know that we want to get rid of him, which is why he is going to leave for cheap, but when I see, for example, Zappacosta 25m, Llorente 15m, Chamberlain 38m, Iheanacho 27m, Lemina 17m I feel 20m is a bit cheap. However, we are not in good position to negotiate and that is probably why we cannot do much.

How many of those players were not good enough for the likes of Everton let alone Barcelona?

None of them were leaving their club as failures really and every one of them are better than Deulofeu.

Ture and a very good point that all of these players' clubs were in a very good position to negotiate. The clubs did not want to sell. I am not sure, but did not Napoli offer about 30m for Suarez?

There were rumours that Napoli bid for him last summer but would think 30m is exaggerated even if bid is true.

You might be right. There is absolutely no way we can value a player without disagreements. I get your point, but I still believe in this market 20m for a 23 soon 24 player is a bit cheap. But as I said sometimes player's value is irrelevant, especially when clubs know that his team is willing to let him go.

If clubs rated him and there was a clamour for his signature fee would be higher regardless of whether Barca want him or not.

Cant see that happening as he has no succeeded anywhere bar a decent enough start to life at AC.

The reason his fee should really be low is because he is a poor player.

Not having my hopes up for getting 20mil.
It is sad he didn't pan out here, had high hopes for him(being a squad player that is).

To the point where the 1st and 3rd clubs in the league want him. I do understand that the majority see 20m is way too much, but for me, while I understand we cannot negotiate we should at least try to get something. However, if I were to choose between getting 20m or Deulofeu staying I would absolutely prefer we sell him.

When I said he is worth more 20m I did not mean we should keep him, I just think we have the opportunity to get something back. Napoli and Inter have several quality players. Would not hurt to try.

He only has a year and half left on his deal and he's not useful to us. His buyout is 20m.

You are absolutely right. I forgot that.

Again I am not against selling him at all even though I think he is being undervalued. I just think we should try to get something back.

It does surprise me that Inter are interested in him.

I mean inter fans are already frustrated with Antonio Candreva but Deulofeu? it would be even worse. Only reason I could think of is it's one of the only few options they have considering they can't buy anyone yet due to the FFP.

They should give Yann Karamoh more chances. despite his age he can't be any worse than Deulofeu is.

I don't know what Napoli sees in him lol. So many failed seasons, it is time to give up. 20M seems too good of a deal to pass on. Also need to sell Vidal and Arda too.
