Maybe when it comes to players that could be sold we do. Chelsea loans out a shitload but its not comparable. Real for example sell the likes of illarendi, callejon or Danilo for good money where at us it would have been a loan and at best a small buy fee in most cases.

Illaramendi they lost about 15/20m on in one season. Callejon has been valued at a lot more since he left.

What about the 100m+ players that Real have out on loan just now?

Or look at how many players City have loaned out the past few seasons that they have spent big money on.

Barcelona probably loan out less big money signings than other top clubs.

Also, seeing that they are apparently also after Dendoncker from Anderlecht. Didn't follow him much but I know Atletico and some other bigger clubs were interested in him so it would be surprising if he'd end up at Watford.

Dendoncker is having an abysmal season, but still he's probably aiming for better than Watford. Don't think he'll leave in January anyway.
