By saying that it could actually work, I didn't mean playing him in that position permanently, of course. Just in case Busquets gets injured, Pique taking his spot for a while might not be the worst solution we could come up with. As others pointed out, losing him at CB by doing that would probably result in a desaster against top teams, but it sure is an alternative for lower ranked teams.
