Martino: "Irresponsible to say Liga was over? Everyone would have said it. We're glad we've made a mistake and that we have another chance"
Martino: "I am proud to be coach of FC Barcelona"
Martino: "Even if we had beaten Getafe, or beat Atletico later it has nothing to do with my position or future."
Martino: "Pique, Neymar and Alba could play against Atletico? They won't be ready for Elche game, newt week we'll see."
Martino: "There was no confrontation with Tello at all. We have talked about things in the dressing room.I have no fights with players"
Martino: "Talks with Luis Enrique? Since I'm here, nothing the club has done was out of place."
Martino: "My future will not depend on winning or losing the league."
Martino: "It has been the case of facing difficulties in certain games. We will just try our best to win the league."
Martino: "We know that Elche are going to be very difficult. They are strong at home. They need a point to be clear of relegation."

Wow, Martino loyal to the last. A lot of other managers would have spilt the beans either directly or through the press.

martino is the classiest coach we've ever had. many coaches would announce their departure before the season's end, thus disrupting the balance. but tata? tata remains collected and doesn't make unnecessary steps. he is the man.

His press conference really shows his class.

Tata is a wonderful guy, and his class is an example to follow for everyone in football.

I have my fingers crossed that Tata will get a chance to manage another good team in Europe. I really think he would do a fantastic job elsewhere.

considering the pressure he's had to deal with at barca i think he will take a break for a year or two. i really think he has kept silent about lots of things and has been suppressing it, so if he continues at another club i think that pressure might hunt him. unless at his new club there will be a very positive atmosphere which will make him forget about everything bad that has happened to him. that of course if my speculation is true, i'm only assuming that tata has been swallowing stuff, maybe im wrong. but if tata takes a break or takes the lightest team to handle i'll be more sure about my theory.
