Haha I'm just keeping the ball rolling :tumbleweed:

Rock on :party00231:

To be honest it would do him good to spend another season in the championship with Ipswich Roy Keane would get the best out of him make him realise he needs to work hard even if you already have the talent.

He's too busy acting like a imature teenager with to much money.

Dos Santos is one of these stories which Robert de Niro talked about in the movie "A Bronx Tale", "the saddest thing in life is wasted talent." Gio has made some wrong choices which brought him to the situation he is now. From one of the biggest talents in the world to the average player in the Championship. Now, I don't say his talent vanished or that he got not chances to succeed, but with the correct approach he would have already made it.... establish his name in the world of football, would be progressing faster and would be one of the most sought-after player in the world. I really hope this guy finds his way back to the path of success, and maybe one day become what he strives for.

C'mon Gio!!!

I don't think he's going to make it.

He may be on his way to Deportivo La Coruña... rumor is that Besiktas out in Turkey wants him too. I hope he ends up back in Spain.

He was named player of the tournament recently in the Gold Cup. Had a goal, caused a penalty and a super assist to Vela (Arsenal player) in Mexico's 5-0 routing of the US in the final match.

If ever a player wants to leave a world class club for more money point them in the direction of Gio Dos Santos and they won't make the same mistake.

Fabregas, for all the acclaim, has only won one FA cup since leaving Barça whilst the club he was brought up at has won 3 leagues, a cup and two champions leagues. I know all the arguments as to why he left but the fact is that he hasn't got very much to show for it aisde from a healthier bank balance.

I think he looked at Messi and Bojan and thought limited chances .

Actually he looked at Tottenham's contract offer, thought "€€€€€€€€€€€€" and tried to persuade Barça to pay him an equally stupid sum on his way out the door. I wonder if he enjoyed Portman Road.

But he still needed time to develop as a player and what better place to do it?

No he took the money and ran.

I think you may be taking my words out of context I mean he would have limited chances.
Oh I see. Yea, you have a point there. The competition was pretty stiff. But in retrospect: he would have gotten more chances here than at Tottenham.. We wouldn't have bought Hleb, he would have been a hot prospect for the future. Now look where we're both at.
