It had always been the other way around.

Bayern stint was the truth, and his Germany stint was an anomaly.

It's clear he is the guy he was at Bayern, and we got very lucky that he was available. His short managerial career so far could go on to be extremely illustrious and we are witnessing near the start of it. We got on the boat early before other top clubs snapped him up.

Even though he is 59, since he got into management so late, he didn't have the chance to fully establish himself at the top and he's now doing it here.

We have a gem and a possible Ferguson type for the club.

Didn't let RL9 score his 100th. Gives fuckin Pena the armband over RL9 and Kounde. Still no starts for Szczesny. Rates Gerard Martin.

Some very weird choices by him.

Armband has nothing to do with Flick, club culture that most senior player gets it if not for the chosen captains. Same in Madrid. Think they don't even choose theirs, just pure seniority.

No one cares about armband.

Mascherano didn't wear the armband but he was the leader on the pitch in the post Puyol years.

Good win, won't go over the top, this team has lost every game they played this season.

But no slip ups so great

I only have two fears in life. The first one is that Flick wins the treble and performs a mic drop and decides to sail into the sunset.
