TBH, that would be the biggest slap to Xavi, the manager, ever.

"Don't expect much from this team."

Xavi should consider quitting the management and becoming a Sporting Director. His talent evaluations were on point in hindsight.

Just perhaps give him a ban on Spanish players though. Otherwise it would be like "Xavier, you have been suggesting us Sergi Roberto for the past 25 years".

Ok, I'll ask. What's the other one?

It had always been the other way around.

Bayern stint was the truth, and his Germany stint was an anomaly.

It's clear he is the guy he was at Bayern, and we got very lucky that he was available. His short managerial career so far could go on to be extremely illustrious and we are witnessing near the start of it. We got on the boat early before other top clubs snapped him up.

Even though he is 59, since he got into management so late, he didn't have the chance to fully establish himself at the top and he's now doing it here.

We have a gem and a possible Ferguson type for the club.

He did not start at 59.
He was the architect of the best German NT from 2008 to 2014 when they won the WC

Now everyone here is acquainted with his style of football, I hope there are 0 doubts who was the man behind the 'Blitzkrieg' Germany 7 - Brazil 1 of 2014

[Sport] Pedri: “Under Xavi, if a player was late, they had to pay an amount of €1000 for each minute of delay. With each minute, more from that first, it doubles. Under Flick, if a footballer arrives late, he will not be a starter or won’t participate in the next game”
