Yeah, the poor part is that we're doing our best to put Madrid firmly back in the title race.

After losing the Clasico 4-0.

So... the honeymoon is well and truly over and now the pressure begins.

Everyone was killing Xavi for to handling being up 2 goals against PSG.

It's never that easy, when players fuck up, like casado and kounde today.

But he was up 2-0 at 75 minutes.

Not getting on him though, just get it together.

Get your shit together.

Covered it with what exactly? We fought for our lives to register Dani Olmo who's currently still registered only until January.

Who was Deco supposed to sign and be able to register? I doubt the depth at the club would be as bad as it currently is if there weren't serious financial constraints.

Yes, we all know that.
Problems with SD planning go as back as at least 2022 summer, when Xavi wasted tons of money from the levers, instead of spreading them out wisely to cover up all the needs of the squad

Guess what he bought for LB then? Marcos fucking Alonso
and Balde simply sprung out of Masia and rose to the occasion.

In a proper squad planning, Balde would have been the cover up, or even the one challenging the starter, which would have been carefully brought with the lever money

There you have your answer who's fault it is
Don't try to pin down the thin squad on Flick

Pressure was there against Bayern and Madrid. Team is capable.
Some players are too full of themselves imo. and Flick wasn't on top of it. Signs were there against Zvezda as well.

Teams will figure out the offside trap more and more. It requires the utmost alertness which is hard to keep 60 games a season.
Yeah it's dancing with the devil really. When it works it has sensational benefits, but is extremely risky and law of averages says there will be several times it will not work.

Not just Barca either, it's risky for any team in this era of fast, intelligent forwards who know how to bend runs and have impeccable timing.

Not piling on him, but I hope he has a plan B or some sort of adjustment.

Also, in every game without Lamine in the league, he's lost points. We shat on EV for being reliant on Messi but even EV managed to win points without Messi

Lack of pragmatism is gonna affect him in the long run. Players do not perform like robots. Part of a manager's job that gets overlooked by fans is taking precautionary measures to roll with dips in form and motivation and still win. The way to do this is by tweaking your approach to the conditions of the game. The solution is not to expect that players will have zero fluctuations, but rather assemble big quality squads to put the underperforming players on the bench. If that is not possible, be more pragmatic in your approach.

The effective approach in a bad day is to defend deeper and keep possession. That weapon of ours was not nice to look at, but was very effective. Flick is totally missing it.

Minimize the chances of individual blunders by having more players around to step in and maybe correct an error. Especially when the team is in a shite day. And especially in leads where you don't really have to keep a high line anymore, the pts are in the bag if you just play it safe.

We looked like fecking Dortmund or Arsenal out there. These teams play nice and entertaining football, but are losers.
