It's a squad game. You need a pacey dribbler at LW.

Olmo is extremely injury prone and Raphinha will play in his position when he's out. The LW spot will be covered by the new signing.

Absolutely. Thought you and Birdy were talking for the 11.

We definitely need another option. Should have got Luis Diaz before Slot got his hands on him, when he was an underrated player.

Gives me hope in Deco scouting atleast.

The Mr gave us a lifeline but imagine the lead we could have had if flick didn’t mess up ffs

Very infuriating
This kind of comments makes no sense. It could have theoretically been all wins in La Liga without a singe point dropped and league would be ours to a great extent now. But there is a vast difference between theory and practice. In practice very few managers would earn you as much points as we do now, especially considering vast injury problems earlier this season and the opponents we faced, let alone more than this.

Lil bro the last manager earned us same amount of points with even bigger injury crisis.

And he was sacked.

Knew somebody would mention this lol. I did say very few. Props to Xavi, he is one of them. But at the end of the season we lost the league along with all other trophies. That is when we should compare Flick and Xavi by their success, when the season ends. Not right now.

These Xavi fan boys must have really bad memories. Remember what Xavi said. He said he couldn't expect our squad to be competitive with Madrid. Thr same squad where Laporta pulled levers to get the players he wanted. He said this squad weren't Barca 2010. He swore at the players, ranted at officials and got sent off in high pressure moments.
Meanwhile Flick had a laundry list of injuries, had to make do with academy players and still got results while playing much better football.
We are first in La liga and are top 5 CL. Yet some people complain......

Probably a bad habit from his Bayern days when Bundesliga was a stroll in the park. Maybe he should look at 2014-15 season when matches in La Liga were tougher than many CL matches back when we even had a stellar team. Not to mention that in 2014 and 2016 we got sent home in CL by Atletico.

La Liga is not some 2nd rate league where you just show up and points are usually won easily because the other teams clown around in defense leaving huge gaps at the back. You often got to dig hard and suffer for the points.

Including some posters here acted not long ago as if those Las Palmas, Celta, Sociedad matches are easy, and La Liga is a weak competition with only Madrid to worry about. Now they are finding out that they are in fact difficult matches, and any drop of form can easily lead to lost points at an alarming rate.
I have always said that La Liga and Serie A are more tactical at any present moment than PL and Bundesliga, on the whole. I think many people believe that.

Just saw there is almost a month between the last La liga game in December and the first one in January. We only play the meaningless Saudi Supercup and Copa with a club from lower leagues inbetween. He could give the starters 2 weeks off and a mini preseason but the club doesn't have the balls to play reserves at Pique's little project.

Could be, our club signs all kind of shit contracts. They have this chance to rest and train for a month but we all know our club will rather play meaningless games and then cry about injuries and fatigue.

I think so far he has exceeded expectations. The team has adapted to his methods faster than anyone expected. No one gave us a chance initially. Rapha and Lewa are at the top of their game aswell which is a pleasant surprise since both were kind of underwhelming last season.

You Know Sometimes You Feel Like Some People Just Don’t Want Any Good For The Club. Realism Is Something But Pessimism Is Another. You Can’t Be Overly Negative And Say You’re Being Realistic
