I hear you, but casado like you yourself said, probably needed a extra season in the B team.

This casado is miles better than anything de jong did for us in years.

Pedri is more playing as a proper CM, than a pivot TBH, double Pivot, but he's very much a CM running the game, but I get what you were getting at.

Yeah, the extra time under Marquez to marinate helped too. I think on that tangent, that the B team crop would be developing a longshot better had Marquez stuck around or we signed a better coach there.

Honestly guys what I really like about Flick is that he knows what "arbeiten" really means and knows how to instill "arbeiten" into players. That is what the club has been missing over years. No more amigos club. No more "I am not going to work off the ball attitude".

Also, unlike Xavi, he seems to hire personal not based on nepotism or semi-nepotism criteria, but on actual expertise. It is very hard for me to comprehend why Barca always went to some mediocre Spanish coaches who have no authority, do not know how to make players work hard, who void making difficult decision that might upset players. The team would be in a much better position if it appreciated coaches such as Flick and may be Tuchel and Conte more.

Flick will win everything. Bookmark this.
Bookmarked. I doubt he will. More chance to win the CL than LL. We can't play with the high intensity against the Eibars and the Rayo's of the world, i.e. we will drop more points in the league.

Was a great game, but it's clear that his style depends a lot on intensity. That's not really something you can train into the players. They have to be motivated and want to run 90 mins and press too. They only do that vs the good teams.

Exactly. We need the best coach available, not some scrub who is hired just cause he knows Spanish and the league.
I would love to see Flick have some time and money to work but football is fickle. We've already seen that this season.

Watched the highlights twice. Lovely goals. The skill and speed of transition were similar to Flicks Bayern. When we are on we are easily the best and most entertaining team in Europe.

Clearly there are things to improve halfway through his first season in charge but the world can see his impact

Me personally, I love the personality and professionalism he exudes - esp. in press conferences. This has to be emphasized at a club where the entorno is like no other hot spot on the planet, yet he kills it

I don't see Flick as the issue. Even today early goal was players sleeping and Teks brain fart has nothing to do with the manager.
Motivation is something that comes from within. If the players don't have it, it's not Flicks fault. Did a good job when we were 10 men down.
It's a shame the players have let him down in the league.

But if the players don't have it then it's Xavi's fault, right?

Xavi couldn't do anything right for you but now when we win you lick Bumsi's ass and when we don't it's players fault, lol.
