“I’m very proud of the players, the club, the fans. It was a fantastic game, we reacted to Madrid’s first goal and then continued very well,” he told reporters.
“We have to learn from every game. We can still do better things, we have a young team, some weeks we haven’t played well, the situation in the league is not good, but we talk about these things in the dressing room.
“When Szczesny was sent off, it wasn’t easy. And what I’m most proud of is how we defended, I’m very happy with many things, but especially with this.
“I don’t want to look back. Today is a good day because we beat one of the best teams in the world for the second time this season and we won a title. I don’t want to look back.”
“The goal of big clubs is to win titles, but now we have to show what we are like in every game. It may not be possible to play every game like today, but we have to try.”

That game without the Szczesny red card had the potential to be the most embarrassing in Real Madrid's recent history. It was 5-1 by 50th minute and we had no intentions to stop while Madrid defence was mentally lost.

That's for everyone saying 8-2 was a covid fluke and Bayern's sextuple was not about him. With or without covid, with or without fans, on that night Bayern was destined to eat us alive just the way they did.

That's for everyone doubting his system. Always remember his system is what served us the most embarrassing game in club's history.

Anything that includes the CL would be our best season since 14/15 so I would be ok with it

Winning CL in this style would be a dream. Flick goes straight to Barca legends in 1 season.

This is not some park the bus and survive stuff, this is play teams off the park style like Pep Barca with a German twist. Winning big titles with it and this squad is a huuuge achievement.

Us CL

I'd be happy with that
I won't. Liga is always the most important title. CL is just a huge bonus. The team that wins LaLiga was the best team over the year, the team that wins the CL had just more luck in the decisive moments.
Since you can plan Liga, but not the CL, the question is unnecessary anyways. The goal is always to plan LaLiga and go as deep as possible in the cup competitions.

With Flick, the challenge is different. When the intensity is on, we are great, when it drops we struggle. Problem is that in the league you can't play 38 games on high intensity, bad days are gonna happen and you need to know how to keep the points in those situations.

This is fixed by either a competitive squad where you can replace the tired players with similar quality options, or by tactical adjustments from the manager. There's no miracle option where you play almost the same team every time, ask them to be intense and focused 100%, and they behave like robots.

I feel you, but the league is looking iffy right now, so I'll take the CL win
