1. He played as LW at the euros most times he was on the pitch their was an established striker, he was tried their for a few minutes.

2. No great success at the euros, Spain won 2 games the entire tournament, both of which olmo didn't start.

3. Keep repeating Something that's incorrect won't make it true.

4. Good job ignoring the part where flick said he adjusted the high line lol

He played the best game Spain played in that Euro, the SF against Italy that they undeservedly lost.
He was sensational in the false 9 role.

Keep repeating irrelevant stuff

TBF. Flick mentioned in press conference Olmo already played false 9 for Spain. Did he take note from Lucho or not? Doesn't matter imo. It worked tonight and I want to see more of it.

Yep 0 wins with him as a starter.

2 wins the entire tournament, both against average teams if memory serves me right.

None of which Olmo started.

All facts, no stats or coulds shoulda shoulda

Edit actually could make the argument Olmo wasn't the false 9, that front 3 just had no 9 with all 3 filling the spot.

All 3 that started could play as a "9".

If it means no tuna I'll take it, but I think tuna presses more from the front

This tonight wasn't a classic false 9. It was a double interchangeable false 9, where one of Gavi and Dani takes the 9 position and the other goes to CAM. Every attack was different and that caused massive confusion in the Betis back line. All of that while trying to defend Lamine, who was on fire, on the right. At moments, we even changed to 4-2-4 with both Dani and Gavi in striker positions.

Quite liked this double false 9 and I think it's a very useful tool as it's completely different to only Lewa up front. Another tool unlocked.

I watched the game pal. You obviously did n't

Spain were the better team, and Olmo wrought them havoc by coming deep and releasing the ball to the wingers and AMs in space. Best player on the pitch that night together with Pedri

Who cares how they played against avg teams in the group

We all watched Spain at the euros.

Lol at who cares how they played against teams in the group, then how were they the best team at the euros? 😂.

They struggled the entire tournament to turn possession into goals and wins.

I have no issues with someone saying we should play olmo at false 9, because he played their for Spain, everyone knows he can play false 9, that was brought up from the Xavi days.

The issue is the false narrative you are trying to build around how well Spain performed that tournament and Olmo's involvement in those performances, when he was on the bench for their two wins and was generally more of a bench player than starter or at best 50/50.

Spain picked up late in that tournament. I can agree with that.

But were the better team of the top4 left, better than both Italy and England at the time of the semis, and that showed especially during the SF

Guess what? Big part of the reason why they improved is playing Olmo as a false 9

PS: Hansi said in the presser he knows Olmo can play as a false 9 from the Spanish NT.
Whole football world had seen how effective he was there

L for you, we move

Nah you can't give me any Ls. Ever lol

Like I said we all know olmo can play false 9.

But him doing great that for Spain at the euros is a birdie might, that I just got you to admit, win zero games with him in the Starting XI.

So now 99% of the tournament doesn't matter only the SF which they couldn't win

Birdie L.
